To expand on what I said, many of us who watch wrestling from all over the world go into the matches not understanding the language or even sometimes the inflection being presented. Many of us are able to get past this and enjoy it and even acclimate ourselves entirely to prefer this way of watching, but many other are entirely put off by having to process so much information on their own during a casual watching experience.
To compare, film buffs love complex indie movies that require more work from the watcher, but is that what your average movie watcher wants from the experience? There’s no real way to know.
